Monthly Header
It’s hard to believe we are already turning the calendar to September! We have had a busy and exciting start to the school year, and our Bears are settling into routines, working hard, and making Battlefield feel like home again.
As we head into a new month, we have lots to look forward to, including Grandparents Breakfast, the Book Fair, House activities, and more opportunities to learn, grow, and connect as a Battlefield family.
Thank you for the many ways you support our school and partner with us each day. We are grateful to have such a wonderful community cheering on our Bears. Here’s to a great September and another month of Every Bear, Every Day, The Battlefield Way!

Construction Update

Our construction projects in the library and cafeteria are coming along nicely! We appreciate everyone’s patience as this important work has continued during the first few weeks of school.
At this time, both projects are on track to be completed by September 30. We are excited to see everything coming together and are definitely looking forward to saying goodbye to that blue tarp!
We are so grateful for the ESPLOST funding that has made these necessary improvements to our school possible. Thank you for your continued patience as we get closer to the finish line!

We have Partnered with Cartwheel Care!

A new school year means new routines, new classrooms, and a fresh start. It can also bring anxiety, stress, or emotional challenges that make it harder to settle in.
Cartwheel, our virtual mental health partner, can offer:
  • Individual teletherapy for students — appointments with a licensed therapist available within days, with no waitlist
  • Parent and caregiver guidance — practical support for navigating challenges at home
  • Family therapy for transitions, stress, or ongoing challenges
  • Psychiatric support, when appropriate
  • Care Programs for specific challenges like school avoidance, screens and social media, and intense emotions and behavior challenges

Appointments are virtual, scheduling is flexible, and care is available in multiple languages. For students with Medicaid, care is completely free. Most private insurance plans are also accepted.
Getting started takes just a few minutes. Complete this simple interest form, and someone from Cartwheel will follow up with you.
