What a Week at Battlefield Elementary!

What an exciting week we had at Battlefield Elementary! The excitement surrounding our Battle of the Bears fundraiser continues to grow, and our students are loving the daily visits from the Prize Cart as they work hard toward their fundraising goals.
Friday was an especially fun day! Our students celebrated reaching another 9 Weeks milestone with an exciting reward—inflatables! It was a wonderful way to celebrate their hard work and enjoy some well-deserved fun. Friday was also our Pink Out Day, and our school was filled with pink as our students and staff showed their support and school spirit!
Our students also participated in Bus Safety activities, learning important reminders about staying safe while riding the bus and at the bus stop.
To top off an already exciting week, we were amazed by the incredible talent showcased at our School Talent Show! Our student performers worked hard to prepare and did an outstanding job sharing their talents with our Battlefield family. We are so proud of each student who took the stage!
It was a busy week filled with learning, celebrating, and plenty of Battlefield Bear pride!

BATTLE OF THE BEARS RUN — PARENT INFORMATION

We would love for you to come cheer on your Bear during the Battle of the Bears Run! Please follow the directions below to help us keep traffic flowing safely.

ARRIVAL & PARKING
Enter through the back entrance of Battlefield Elementary and drive behind Battlefield Primary. Park on the visitor side of the LFO football field. Please avoid the front entrance of Battlefield Primary.

WHERE TO WATCH
Parents and families may sit in the visitor stands to watch the run and cheer on our Bears!

AFTER THE RUN
Kona Ice will be available for purchase after the event. Students may also check out with no attendance penalty and get an early start on Fall Break!
If your child will be leaving with you, please check out with your child’s teacher at the end of the event. The person checking out the student must be listed on the child’s approved checkout list.

EXITING
Please leave the same way you entered. Drive behind Battlefield Primary, behind Battlefield Elementary, and out to the red light at Jack’s.

WHY THIS ROUTE?
Our students will be walking along the front sidewalk of Battlefield Elementary to the home entrance of the football field. Using the back route for parent traffic will help keep our students safe and minimize traffic at Battlefield Primary’s front entrance.
